Pairing a newly developed 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle BOXER engine with electric motors and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, this powertrain delivers 194 total system horsepower while improving fuel economy compared to non-hybrid variants.

The next-generation e-BOXER system works seamlessly with Subaru's symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive, maintaining the off-road capability Subaru owners expect.
